Terri Guess is a career executive assistant who began her career as a receptionist in the corporate office of Longs Drug Stores, a $5 billion regional drug store chain that operated 500 stores in Colorado, Arizona, Hawaii, Washington, Oregon and California. Within a year, Guess moved to a secretarial position in the corporation’s pharmacy department, where she supported the Vice President – Pharmacy. Two years later, Guess was promoted to Executive Secretary, supporting the Senior Vice President – Marketing. Guess remained with the SVP – Marketing, who eventually became the company’s CEO. She continued in her position, as Executive Assistant to the CEO, as the company underwent changes in management and structure, until the eventual sale to CVS in 2008.
Guess began her tenure with the San Francisco Giants in 2008. She supports the President and CEO, who oversees all aspects of the organization’s baseball and multiple business operations. Guess lives in the San Francisco East Bay area with her husband. She has two grown children and enjoys entertaining her friends and family, reading and boating.
